the grand prismatic spring was pretty grand, but a little hard to see because of all the steam.

this place made me SO nervous because there were no railings along the trail of steaming hot water. i made kevin carry owen the entire time. PLUS, it surely didn't help that on of the hot springs had a sign saying that it last erupted in 1985 and they have no idea when it will happen again! i felt like i was walking on a ticking time-bomb! i was thrilled to be able to walk away without any eruptions (you know me...if something bad can happen i think it will)!
