missing in action

i thought i would drop a few lines to explain my blogging absence...i know, you have all missed me.

we packed up monday afternoon and moved across town (temporarily)! we will be living in my cousin's house and watching their three little ones while they are in scotland for the next couple weeks! it has already been a ton of work...and fun too...upgrading from a small apartment to a large home and from two kids to five.

it's kind of like we have two sets of twins since their youngest is just a few months younger than wesley and their second youngest if just a few months younger than owen! oh the fun! so far owen is loving following their 5-year old around and playing with all his toys. and wesley is quite entertained by the little doll house and kitchen (don't tell kevin)! (;

although i am doing my best to find time to peek in on your lives i don't know if i will be getting much posted on my end! we shall see! but, keep sharing the love!

Go SUPER MOM! You will be amazing! I bet the cousins will have some great bonding moments.

5 kids is a lot...I know! I have 5, but there is more of an age gap between them all!

Have fun! Take a nap when they do...you'll appreciate it!

Love
Corin

We love the idea that you are just a few houses away! I saw that you called today, but I was on the phone with Miki, then Jarom came home for lunch, then it was time for my girls to get home, then I had to go to the library, store, and get the girls to the office to clean, and then it was dinner and bedtime. Whew.....sorry, I had no time to call you back. Let's try again tomorrow. :)

Oh Becky--what a good cousin you are. What a sacrifice.

I JUST read Elena's comment! Sorry I was blabbing away in her ear! You should hear the blabber.

Anyway, good luck with all of your double duty. I don't know how well I would fair?

Jonas keeps talking about Owen and saying he wants to play with him. It's so cute! Mark took the boys for a walk last night and he was upset that he couldn't play with Owen:( LOL I'm glad you're not totally overwhelmed!

Glad to see you're still alive. Keep holding in there, just keep telling yourself, closing costs... closing costs. We'll keep checking for updates, though. Let us know if you need any help!

Aw, I was wondering where you were (even though I can't really blame you-- I think I am the worst right now). I hope you guys are feeling better-- poor kids! We're coming to IF this weekend, so if you're feeling good, we should get together.

WOW! Knowing THAT is what you're doing, I appreciate the comments you've left even more. Are you ready to have three more children right away now :)?!

Have a great "vacation"!

Wow, your busy!! That's got to be fun to be able to watch your cousin's kids for them. And kids always seem to be better entertained when they have someone else's toys to play with. They always get so bored with what they have at their own home. Good luck, I hope that the next couple of weeks goes good for you!

I totally understand. Since I have been back teaching I haven't been able to keep up on my blog. I'm working on a couple of posts right now. Good thing we don't jump from 2 kids to 5! Things always seem easier when you ease into them. Good luck!
