aren't birthdays FUN?! it's so exciting to be able to celebrate a person once a year. and it's even more fun when it's your baby girl that's turning ONE!
kev and i were up until 1am getting everything ready so it would be perfect once madalyn woke up. we did a princess theme for our little princess and i decided to save all preparations for the day before. but, we got it done! i made her highchair a little princess skirt, found her a crown, made her a crown cake, and kevin put her princess coupe together (those coupes are a MAJOR pain to assemble...from the sounds of it).

we gave her a princess coupe and a little swimming pool pad. it's a cute little pad that you connect to the hose and it fills up with water and has spots where water comes spraying out. adorable! she loved them both.
