we were all sick, so VERY sick. and we were supposed to leave for utah (heading there for rosanne's wedding) the day before wesley's birthday (so we wouldn't have to spend the day driving)...which didn't happen. so we did plan B. we stayed home and prayed we would all feel better in the morning. which we did!
we have been talking about wesley's for weeks now but wesley was still full of shock and excitment when he woke up and we told him it was his birthday. i love having a day to celebrate your child. SO FUN!
we were all packed and ready to head for utah, so we spent the morning just relaxing and letting wesley enjoy his spoils. kevin made wesley a fantastic birthday breakfast. not as big as we usually go, but since we were all pretty sick the day before we couldn't even think of consuming "the usual".

wesley was really enjoying opening his gifts and showed appreciation. BUT, we he got to this gift his response was "now, THIS is what i wanted!" such a clown.
