our skating rink

with such a large yard you would think that we would build a skating rink in the back. but, no! we like it better out our front door. for all to enjoy!

SO wishing we had rain gutters! the front of our house RARELY sees the sun (because the garage blocks it. and all the snow from the roof melts/drips right on our stairs and entry. SO DANGEROUS!

visitors: consider yourselves warned.

Nice to warn me AFTER I almost fell (or did a little dance) on it yesterday!! :)

LOL....oh, and not! That looks SO dangerous (and kind of fun!).

Oh, Becky, I totally feel for you. We had rain gutters put up and we still have a problem. Maybe it has something to do with a husband who neglects to shovel the sidewalk, though.
Thanks for the warning.

We had the same problem in our last house! I hosted a bridal shower and someone did fall - I could've died!! I'm so glad she wasn't hurt ... good luck! Hopefully the weather will warm up :)

I agree with Kaylin thanks for the early warning...NOT! I can't count how many times I have done some crazy moves trying to get across that rink! It probably doesn't help that we cross it late at night when I am really not coherent.

We have the same problem in the back of our house!! Too bad it doesn't totally melt until about May:) Until then, maybe the boys need some skates!!

Wow... that is a lot of ice. We have a similar problem. Gutters help but we still have a little ice that builds up. Good luck!

Be careful! I know what you mean! We have the same exact problem with our house. The only good thing is that we have a flowerbed in between the house and side walk, (well actually not for flowers since the sun never shines there) but more like a rock garden.

I guess that makes for cheap entertainment, not really. Hope no one falls on that. Those bunk beds are nice and I like the bug theme idea that's fun!!
