we spent the 4th of july in ashton with one of our favorite families! it was fun to be a part of the small town they both grew up in.
the boys were able to be a part of a float last minute and enjoyed that. then we enjoyed being entertained by our friends, aka "Jimmy Explosion and the FANTASTICS".

and a trip to ashton cannot end without a meal at Big Judd's;)
we spent some time with my family and had a bbq. grandma put together such cute little bags full of fun fireworks and treats. the kids loved it.
in the evening we did our own firework show with our friends, but the night ended with madalyn stepping on a sparkler! it was a nasty burn that haunted us for weeks. bummer.
