we enjoyed a nice easter sunday with family! it was a little frantic in the morning with the easter baskets serving as a distraction. maybe the easter bunny should deliver them AFTER church next year. we will see what we can do about that. does anyone’s easter bunny come on saturday? just curious.

I wanted to get a picture of the kiddos in their new easter clothes BEFORE church because I knew after church would be TOO late. but, madalyn is proving to be a difficult one to photograph.

I’m thankful that we were able to step away from the baskets of candy and enjoy a few hours learning about our Savior’s atonement and resurrection. we enjoyed our meetings and then spent the rest of the afternoon with my family…eating and visiting.

I remeember when I was young the excitement of finding the goodies after church. I have a feeling the adults skipped Sunday School, ran home and staged the hunt. We will do something like that next year since church will be at 9:00 for us.
We have gotten smarter the older we have gotten. Small egg hunt with cousins on Saturday and dye eggs. Sunday, our family is assigned to the bunny that does only a candy route. The kids have a small basket which results in a small amount of candy. A bag of Reeses eggs, peeps and a small solid chocolate bunny. The boys got a chicken that "lays" bubble gum egg ... or as Kendall tells us, a poopin' chicken. Our bunny hides the baskets ... it is really funny to see what places the baskets end up.
Wow! After all those Easter egg hunts I bet your kids are pros at finding eggs! Everyone looked so cute in their Easter/Sunday clothes. Glad you guys had a great Easter!
We had the same problem with the putting the goodies down and get ready for church! Your family is so cute and I LOVE their Easter outfits!
What a cute Easter egg picture! And I LAUGHED OUT LOUD at the picture of Madalyn! :) I'm thinking about doing baskets after church so that the kids aren't distracted all THROUGH church! :)

Happy Easter to you all! I do gave a random question, where do you find your boys thin short sleeve dress shirts? I only find long sleeve or thick shirts and that isn't going to work in Texas. :)
