One of our New Year's Resolutions as a family was to teach the boys the Thirteen Articles of Faith.
Owen has such an awesome memory that we knew he would really take off with this challenge. It only took him a few days before he had it down.

six months old
our little madalyn turned 6 months old on saturday.
she has been such a delightful baby so i really HATE seeing her grow-up so fast.
i love this picture of madalyn because it shows her chunky little thighs and her strong neck.
madalyn LOVES to watch her brothers play. they do silly things and know how to crack her up!
she still wakes up very happy!
i think she is cutting teeth the last few days. here we go!
she LOVES her rice cereal and oatmeal in the morning and evening. she's just going to be heaven when i introduce her to stuff with flavor.
she holds herself up really well and rolls and scoots all over the place.

SNOW!
over the weekend we go the BEST snow so far this season. and the boys spent a good portion of the afternoon outside on saturday.
they started sculpting a polar bear. it looks pretty good so far!

new year's eve
we also celebrated new year's at our house with my family. kevin got a dart board and ping-pong table for christmas so he wanted to have everyone come over for a tournament! i won the girls bracket and kev won the boys.it's been a lot of fun having that in our basement.
we had the kids do their new year's toast and celebrating at 10pm. this is the best picture i could get. wesley was not in the "toasting" mood.

i gave kevin, owen, and wesley nerf guns for christmas and then laura (kevin's sister) gave owen and wesley nerf guns as well. so a nerf gun war on new year's was inevitable. my clock makes the perfect target.
